His real name is Adolph Robert Thornton Jr., but he is mainly known by his stage name Young Dolph. He released his debut album King of Memphis in 2016.

Career From (2018 – 2017)

His car was reportedly shot 100 times, but no one was hurt due to the bulletproof panel. After the shooting, Blac Youngsta and two other men were arrested.

In September 2017, he was shot multiple times. Then in February 2018, he released the extended version of Niggas Get Shot Everyday, in which he made references to these incidents.
Career From (2017 – 2021)
In 2017, he signed rapper Key Glock to his Paper Route Empire label. Later on, in 2018, they released a single Major that peaked at number 47 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
In the same year, Young was offered a $22 million deal. But he rejects the deal in order to stay independent. Later on, he signed a record deal with Empire Distribution, and then his album Role Model was released in September 2018.
In July 2019, he again collaborated with Key Glock to release his first collaborative album, Dum, and Dummer. Moreover, the album peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200.
In 2020, there are some rumors that Young was considering his retirement from music in order to spend more time with his children after he wrote about this on his Instagram account.

Young was in a relationship with Mia Jaye and had two children, Tre Tre and Aria. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he stayed with his family in Memphis.

Young Dolph Death
On 17 November 2021, Young died after he was fatally shot in Memphis while picking up cookies for his mother from the bakery Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies.
