Sidharth made his acting debut in 2012 with the film Student of The Year. In the film, he plays the role of Abhimanyu Singh, who is a scholarship student with limited financial means. Student of The Year perform very well at the box office and earns ₹700 million.
In 2014 he appeared in romantic comedy Hasee Toh Phasee which describes the love story of an under-confident businessman and scientist. The film performed well at the box office and generated global revenue of ₹620 million.
In 2014 his second release was the film Ek Villan. Ek Villan was commercially successful at the box office and generated domestic revenue of more than ₹1 billion.
In 2015 Sidharth appear in film Brother which is a remake of American film Warrior. However, the film doesn’t perform well at the box office and received negative reviews.

In 2017 he appeared in the film A Gentleman. The film has a domestic collection of ₹220 million. Sidharth next film in 2017 is the remake of 1969 film Ittefaq. The film has a lifetime collection of ₹500 million, but it does not give any remarkable performance at the box office.
Sidharth appeared in the film Aiyaary in 2018. Moreover, the film open at a low note of ₹30 million, but in the end, it collects ₹183.1 million.
