He was born on 22 April 1969 in Leicestershire. His father is Eddie Dublin, who is a musician by profession and her mother is Rose Dublin, who died due to breast cancer.

Dion only made five league appearances that season. Later on, in September 1994, he was sold for $2 Million to Coventry City.
Football Career From (1995 – 2004)
Dion remains a part of Coventry City for four-and-a-half years. During that time, he established himself as one of the Premier League’s top strikers.
Furthermore, during the 1997–98 season, Dion shares elite status as the Premier League’s top scorer. Despite being the Premier League’s joint top-scorer in the 1997–98 season, he was controversially excluded from the England 1998 FIFA World Cup squad.

Football Career From (2005 – 2008)
After getting released from Aston Villa, he was signed by Leicester City. However, during his first season with the club, he only scored four goals in 38 matches.
Furthermore, during the 2005-06 Season, he lost his place as the team’s main striker and started appearing as a defender. In January 2006, his contract with Leicester City was terminated by mutual consent.
After releasing from Leicester City, he was quickly snapped by Celtic. At Celtic, Dion achieved double success with Scottish Premier League and Scottish League Cup winner’s medals.
Even after giving decent performances, he was released by the club in May 2006. In September 2006, Dion returned to Norwich City almost after 20 years.
Dion made his debut on 23 September 2006. He was an important player of Norwich City, due to which he even got second place in the Norwich City player of the year award.
Initially, he joined only for the 2006–07 season. But later on, he extended his contract for one more year for the 2007-08 season.
