Carrie Bickmore Early Life
She was born on 3 December 1980 in Adelaide, South Australia. But at an early age, she moved with her family to Perth, Western Australia.
She attended the Anglican girls’ school Perth College and later on did her graduation in Journalism from the Curtin University of Technology.
In 2001, she moved to Melbourne, Victoria, where she pursued her career in media.

Radio
She started her career as a newsreader on 92.9FM in Perth. She began as an emergency fill-in for a sick colleague but later on became the regular newsreader for the station.
In 2001 she became the afternoon newsreader for radio station Nova 100 in Melbourne. Moreover, she became the co-host of the Drive show with Andy Ross in 2002.
Carrie was a 2005 Best News Presenter finalist in the Australian Commercial Radio Awards. In 2007, she was appointed the breakfast newsreader on Hughesy & Kate on Nova 100.
However, in September 2009, she left the Nova 100 to focus on The 7 pm Project. In October 2012, Carrie became part of the radio show The Breakfast Project.
In January 2017, she announced that she would co-host the show, Carrie & Tommy, across the Hit Network from 3 pm.

In 2006, she made her debut in the television industry through the show Rove Live where she presents the Carrie @ the News Desk segment for each episode.
Later on, in 2007, she returned to the show with a more important role. Since 2009, she has been a presenter on The Project.
In May 2010, Carrie won the 2010 Logie Award for Best New Female Talent for her work on Rove and The Project. Later on, in December 2010, she was criticized for promoting McDonald’s in a report for The Oprah Winfrey Show.
In 2011, for several months, she remained away from The 7 pm Project and then returned to Television after the death of her husband.
