Later on, Barbara signed a contract with Universal Studios and started working on the sitcom Leave It to Beaver. She played the role of June Cleaver, who was often seen doing household chores wearing pearls and earrings.
The series was very successful and broadcast in more than 100 countries. Barbara was a part of the show until it got canceled after six seasons and 234 episodes because of the cast’s desire to move on to other projects.
Career from (1963 – 2003)
